Isaiah 60: 1-2


The Glory of Zion
1 "Arise, shine, for your light has come, 
and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. 

2 See, darkness covers the earth 
and thick darkness is over the peoples, 
but the LORD rises upon you 
and his glory appears over you. 

Be not afraid. Even though all about you is dark and seemingly forever, the light of the Lord is all around you. It dispels the darkness and shines at all times, even if you cannot see it. Lift up your face to the heavens and let His light fill your heart that your blindness be driven out and the Lord be before you. Dance with joy in the light of His love.
